Calabria is famous for having the best beaches in Italy and this one at our condo is perhaps finest of them all!
Our son sees our local beach "Il Paradiso del sub" for the first time and he is not disappointed.
This is the beach closest to our apartment, about 500 meters away.
The beach is difficult to access and not signposted. Easy to miss if you do not know where it is.

Tropea is a picturesque medieval town just a few kilometers south of the apartment in Zambrone. A must see!

The food is wonderful, especially the starters "Antipasti" and then any shellfish. The octopus is amazing! For the main course you can eat "Pesce Spada," swordfish.
In Pizzo, Twenty kilometers north of Zambrone there are many nice ice cream restaurants. Enrico's is not the best, but perhaps the most well known. The local ice cream at the Stazione di Zambrone is very good.
In Tropea can eat ice cream with a taste of "Cipolla di Tropea" (red onion).
