Capo Vaticano is not only the famous view of the beaches of Grotticelle.
If you go a few hundred meters back along the road, you can turn off towards a park that has a fantastic view of the beaches at the end of the headland. The park is called Belvedere.
These beaches cannot be visited from land unless you are a guest in a hotel with private stairs down to “Praia I Focu”.
To solve the problem, you have to go to Grotticelle and rent a pedal boat and simply pedal around the headland, which takes about half an hour.
Then it is just to paddle, you get a private beach or possibly together with some others who are going by boat.
